為了讓人類未來能在月球與火星生活,日本京都大學與大型建設公司攜手構思能產生人類所需重力的太空居住設施,並朝實現開始進行共同研究。
日本放送協會(NHK)報導,京都大學人類太空學研究中心與鹿島建設公司,5日舉行聯合記者會對外說明。

這處杯狀設施內除了供人類居住的地區外,也會設置重現地球環境的海及森林等小型生態系,打造能供人類生存的基礎。
有關在月球與火星間移動的交通工具,將把類似新幹線車廂大小的車體,跟六角形裝置結合,在移動同時透過旋轉產生跟地球相同的人工重力。
京都大學與鹿島建設認為確立這些技術將成為實現移居太空的關鍵,決定今後開始共同研究,推動具體構造的檢討等相關事項。
京都大學教授山敷庸亮說,雖然還不到實現階段,但在世界各國持續建構太空社會的情況下,為了讓日本能占有優勢,概念展現很重要,他們將進行相關研究。
富士新聞網報導,跟地球相比,火星上的重力只有1/3、月球更只剩1/6,如果能打造利用旋轉時離心力產生人工重力的居住設施,就能讓人類維持隨時都能返回地球的身體狀況。
